Rashes

Dermatitis

Dermatitis is often caused by a contact allergen, and is characterized by inflammation, redness, and itching.

Hives

Hives can occur for a variety of reasons ranging from stress to an allergic reaction to medications. Hives are itchy, raised, and may be red. 

Scabies

Scabies are a parasitic infection resulting in intense itching and small, linear rashes which require medication.

Poison Ivy

Poison ivy, poison oak, or poison sumac are each itchy or painful rashes that occur after contact with a plant of the same name which contain a toxic oil resulting in allergic reaction.
